New Products
1) Ballinger Lonestar is in the finishing
stages of manufacturing its new servo driven cartoner.
The Model AC-3HS Continuous Motion Cartoner boasts of
electronic in-motion timing of flap folders and all
other major devices. In the past mechanical drives required
machines to be shut down for retuning. Now, with use
of the HMI (human interface or touch screen) the equipment
devices can be tuned while it's running.
2) Ballinger Lonestar is also in the finishing stages
of manufacturing its new servo driven Smart Belt in-feed
system. This particular system with involve not only
the smart belt targeting necessary to interface with
the cartoner, but will also incorporate a linear tracking
servo to lengthen the target window as it inserts the
pouch into the flighted in-feed of the cartoner. Click

3) Ballinger Lonestar is also in the finishing stages
of manufacturing a new intermittent motion 3-lane, plastic
bucket dispenser. Not only will this model dispense
buckets, it will also incorporate devices that will:
- Place brochures into each bucket using a Sure-Feed
feeder mounted on a servo linear transfer.
- Cut and place a 2-3/4" wire tie into each bucket
using stepper technology.
- Check the weight of each bucket prior to lidding.
- Automatically lid the bucket while in flight.
- Mechanically discharge the bucket and convey it
past a laser coding device.
4) Ballinger Lonestar will also be introducing its
mini servo palletizer. With the advent of the club stores,
custom palletization has been an ongoing issue. The
machine will emulate the same basic program as a servo
case loader only it will be dealing with slip sheets
and occasional plastic trays to retain specialty products.
It will also incorporate pallet dispensing and pallet
handling features.
